In addition to handling, processing, storing, packaging,
and transporting forest by-products and other organic materials
as its primary line of business, Rexius has been interested
in processing yard waste for many years. We have been active
in the Lane County Yard Debris Task Force Committee since
its inception in 1991 and have been involved in the Power
Resource Citizens Advisory Group as well. Company
representatives have also been active in an Oregon DEQ
work group drafting rules for commercial composters in
Oregon.
We have operated our own collection/processing sites in
addition to providing yard waste grinding services since
1993. One of our goals for the recycling program is to
divert additional volumes from the landfill into the recycling
program.

Hours:
Monday-Saturday 8:00 - 5:30 p.m. (summer)
Monday-Saturday 8:00 - 5:00 p.m. (winter)
Sunday 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. (all year)
Fees
- Yard Waste - $5 for the first cubic yard, $4 per additional cubic yard
- Land Clearing - $6 per cubic yard
- Dirt, Concrete & Rock - $12 per cubic yard (no commercial loads accepted)
- Empty Plastic Bags from Rexius Garden Products (free — please turn inside out and rinse off)
Yard Waste includes grass clippings, leaves, weeds, branches (less than 6" diameter / 8 ft. long), vegetative materials (produce, fruit), and compostable materials.
Land Clearing includes wood scraps, branches (more than 6" diameter / 8 ft. long), plywood, wood shingles, pallets, fence boards, lumber.
NO painted or treated wood, railroad ties or stumps
NO hay or straw, or any products containing hay or straw
NO glass, metal, rock, plastic, or trash of any kind
Other compostable materials (please contact Rexius for prior arrangements)
Please be conscious of materials you are dropping off. Remember that we are using this product for compost and we ask for your cooperation in keeping your load clear of trash or contaminants.
