Reports To: Bulk Delivery Manager
Job Summary: This role assists with the daily operations of our bulk delivery. Drivers will engage with customers, load their trucks (when applicable) and support daily tasks.
Essential Duties:
- Drive CDL trucks when needed for deliveries
- Operate using all functions on CDL truck as needed to deliver products to customers (may use Power Take-Off (PTO) and plow
- Perform basic truck maintenance as needed (greasing chain, adding hydraulic fluid and refueling)
- Communicate with manager and shop manager if problems arise with trucks
- Use WhipAround program to log pre and post trip required information

Perform Level 1 duties when we do not have a Level 1 Associate on site.
- (Examples of Level 1 duties include confirming delivery orders with dispatch, communicate with customers about order status, fuel up the delivery truck, add hydraulic fluid to the lift on the truck as needed, use WhipAround program to log pre and post trip required information)

- Knowledge of OR-OSHA regulations and changes.
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to operate all CDL trucks
- Ability to operate PTO and plows

Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Special Requirements/Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License
- CDL endorsement on Driver’s License
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- May be required to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to stand 8-10 hours per day as needed.
- Hand-eye coordination and hand, arm, and finger mobility for detailed work with objects.
- Active movement throughout the day: sitting, walking, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, etc. (not a sedentary position).
- Vision: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Hearing: able to satisfactorily communicate with customers, owners, and other staff members to ensure that verbal communication is clearly understood, particularly during emergency situations.
- Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operating equipment.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels.
- Exposure to hectic, fast-paced, high anxiety environments.
