Pay:  $26.00+/hour  D.O.E.

  • Overtime is available at an average of 10hr / wk.

Description:
Rexius’ Coburg division is seeking a highly skilled commercial construction project lead for a full-time, year-round position. A project Lead will manage the construction and installation of exceptional landscapes for our high-profile commercial projects. We are looking for an individual who will own the success of each project. This will include client meetings, collaboration with award-winning Landscape Architects, directing the construction and installation of exceptional landscapes, and managing the transition to ongoing maintenance at the project's completion. A project lead will work with division managers and estimators to generate budgets and timelines for each project.  

Qualifications for higher pay rates:

  • Successful experience in commercial landscape construction and irrigation.
  • Previous successful commercial project management experience, including working with General Contractor, Architects and Owner Groups.
  • Experience with project management software and cloud-based systems such as Procore or Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency with bidding, writing, and executing CCD’s, ASI’s, AB’s or change orders.
  • Experience writing and tracking RFI’s.
  • Equipment operation experience; horticultural knowledge, plant identification; and Irrigation design.
  • Mastery with developing and executing training modules.
  • Experience with product and material securing / ordering.
  • Landscape relevant Licensing.
  • Bi-lingual 

Daily Tasks:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations on multiple large commercial projects. 
  • Working with Managers and Admin staff to ensure your projects get the staffing, materials, and equipment needed for each project at the appropriate time.
  • Coordinating, and in some cases, hiring subcontractors as needed.
  • Reviewing contracts, plans, specifications, RFI’s, CCD’s, ASI’s, AB’s and other contract related documents to ensure your decisions are based off the most current documents. 
  • Working with Managers and Administration teams, months in advance, to develop task specific strategies for each project, along with making adjustment when plans change.
  • Working with the admin team on contract adjustments when needed.
  • Reviewing budgets for job specific tasks and tracking project costs to ensure a profitable outcome. 
  • Reviewing and approving employee timecards and invoices related to specific projects. 
  • Supports Maintenance Project Managers as projects transition from construction to maintenance.

Requirements:
