Pay: $22.00-$28.00/hour D.O.E
Description:
Rexius' Bend location is seeking an experienced Spray Technician. A successful candidate will show good initiative, attitude, appearance and attendance. This candidate will be self-motivated and follow through with assigned tasks from start to finish. Must be able to identity weeds and diagnose plant diseases and apply herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers consistent with chemical labeling. Must have complete knowledge of chemical application equipment, chemical mix safety procedures, and how to properly dispose of chemicals.
Daily Tasks:
- Maintain all paper work & spray records for any chemicals used on every project
- Meet with the production manager on a daily basis for debriefing
- Quality control on all accounts
- Accountable for the safety and welfare of company equipment and supplies as well as performing brief and targeted meetings weekly with crew(s)
- Ability to manage oneself out in the field
- Maintain good upkeep on all equipment
Requirements:
- Must possess or have the ability to possess USDA Oregon Pesticide Applicator’s license, CLT (Certified Logistics Technician) and/or other certifications, within the first month (testing sponsored by Rexius).
- Be able to identify and know which chemicals to use with proper technique
- Have a current Oregon driver’s license
- Able to perform all paper work with high detail
- Excellent time management and a working proficiency with the daily work load
