Recommended usage:

2 to 4 inches of bark is recommended as a minimum to aid in weed control and for proper of plant roots.
It is best to spread bark in Early Spring to late Fall before heavy weed growth periods.
Apply 1 to 2 inches each year following the first application to maintain proper depth and a fresh, clean appearance.
